Are you an undergraduate looking to declare a major, change majors, or add a second major? Join us for the first ever “Major Discovery” kickoff event!
When: February 7, 2019, 4-6 PM
Where: Music 1410, Digital Arts and Humanities Commons (formerly Arts Library)

What: Explore and speak with attending faculty and staff from many departments that are actively seeking additional majors, and learn what goes on in each field. There will also be two short presentations on “Discovering Your Major” at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM by Associate Dean Linda Adler-Kassner, presenting tips and ways of thinking about majors.
Attendance is open; show up or leave anytime. There will be prizes for participating at the event, including gift cards and entry into a grand prize raffle!
Attendees will also learn how to sign up for the Major Discovery online program, which contains resources such as faculty you can meet with, lectures you can visit, and more, including even more rewards for exploring major opportunities on your own over winter and spring quarters.
