Why did you get involved in academic advising?

"I wanted to be able to provide the academic guidance and support that I needed when I was an undergrad. Going through college was difficult at times for me and to be able to be that support system for other students is rewarding and something I'm passionate about. Advising is more to me than just helping students graduate, it's building connections and helping them have the best college experience."
