Athletics advisors are located in the Student Services office on the 1st floor of the UCSB Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) Building.

How to contact us.

Student-athletes may drop-in or schedule an appointment with your team's assigned advisor. Advisor's office hours vary so we recommend, emailing the advisor assigned to your team using the links below to set up a meeting.

If you play on one of our 19 NCAA-sponsored, Division 1 athletic teams then yes! 

Student-athletes must maintain full-time enrollment (12 units) to be eligible to compete in their sport. Contact your Athletic Advisor before making schedule adjustments.

Maybe. Eligibility depends on a variety of parameters including how many units must be passed in a quarter and an academic year. Every student-athlete must pass a minimum of six-degree applicable units a quarter to remain eligible. Talk to your Athletic Advisor as soon as possible if you are concerned you may not pass a course.

Yes, if you are actively on the roster and traveling for a university-approved sporting event. It is the student-athlete's responsibility to provide a "Missed Class Letter" to faculty before missing the course and to learn the information missed during team travel.
